From Family Compound to Casa de Playa
Hyssop House started as a cherished family beach property on the shores of Ligtasin Cove in Lian, Batangas — a private coastline known for its calm, clear waters and unhurried way of life. For decades, the property existed as the family's personal summer retreat: the kind of place where weekends felt longer and the sea was always within earshot.
Casa Uno was the first house on the property, and it remains the most storied. Its old mango trees tower over the roof just as they always have. The wooden cabinets, the iron gate, and the metal swing are still there — no longer antiques, but heirlooms. The family never wanted to modernize away what made the place feel like a return to something true and unhurried. Casa Uno is offered as-is, with all its history intact.
Casa Dos came later — the family's vision for what a Batangas beach house could be. Inspired by the Mediterranean coast, it was designed with white-washed walls, sand-colored floors, bleached timber, and a long private pool framed by tropical palms. Two very different personalities, one shared stretch of coastline, and a single quiet conviction: that the best stays feel like coming home.
